Here's a classic example of how you can add aerosol art to things throughout your home. Here you can see two old closet doors that have been painted white over the years. Instead of sticking to the basic egg shell white we took these doors to the next level by spray painting a sunset scenic view overlooking a bay in red tones. As you can see the finished product is remarkable and a great edition to any home.

I can almost remember the first bedrooms that were blasted out when i was younger trying to convince my friends parents to allow me to spray thier kids rooms. Now a days there is no shortage on the amount of work for interior rooms. Some how a painted mural can provide a room with a certain energy that framed canvases or posters lack. I spent about four hours on this fun project that allowed me a lot of creative freedom to play with my new style i've been working on. The concept is a combination of a fairy and a few koi fish complimented with colorful shapes.

During my holiday on the island of Kauai I met several locals who wanted their automobiles repainted. One of the owner's wanted to have his Toyota truck decorated with a woodland style camouflage, so i decided to step it up a notch and upgrade his idea to a digital camo design. (A style that has become standard in military graphic designs). Some minor prep work was done to the previous paint and body. When it was time to start spraying the owners seemed to be so amazed on how nothing was stenciled during the application. I think they quickly discovered that I was not your average street alley tagger. After about 4-6 hrs the truck was completely covered and look like a stylish army mini-truck. Since spray paint is such a versatile application it works well on almost every surface. This was a good example of how a little spray paint and creativity can go a long way.

The island of Oahu has many real low key locations. These locations are hidden from the common tourist. Thanks to local graff legend, "Quest" who graciously let me paint on his "wall of fame!" Before we began painting the locals in the neighborhood were suspicious as to why we were hanging in the alley. In order to keep the peace and avoid any complaints or confrontations I approached one of the elder locals who luckily happened to manage an apartment building and seemed interested in what we were doing. One thing led to another and he allowed us to paint a mural on the outer wall that surrounds his building. Since time was short the rough draft was drawn up in five minutes. I proposed an island concept with our urban lettering as the reef formation at the bottom of the ocean.
Once we got the approval we rolled out a dark blue base coat for the background color. Big Mahalos to bruddah Sean for rolling it out!! Once the background was finished we busted out. The tenants and locals in the area were very supportive and we quickly embraced the aloha as they brought out food and beverages for us throughout the day. It turned out to be a wonderful sunny Sunday with warm weather and great people who were pleased with the final results.

Virtuous Artistry and Entertainment opened their new studio for recording and was dying for some colorful flava on their walls. The idea was to have there company name in stylish calligraphy lettering on one of the lobby walls along with a graffiti style chef character “cooking up some beats” on a wall in the kitchen. Once they agreed with the preliminary sketching it was time to get to work. One major thing about indoor painting with aerosol you NEED ventilation and a respirator. The crew checked and supervised the progress while playing some of the new music their currently working on. After finishing the 2 day mural I was happy with the results and it was time to move on to the next project, another one rocked for the books thanks again.

I was offered the opportunity to compose a mural for a Southern California glass blowing company, Built To Last. The mural shows minerals and molecues formulating from the earth then heated by a torch which melts and hardens into the faceted glass we see today. Thier idea for the lettering was to incorperate the intials B.T.L with a street style and embed it in the glass developing process. Sound Fun?
All and all they were very happy with the completed mural which can be seen in my Gallery section of the site. Thanx again guys, I loved the challenge.

This week was fun for one reason only, we finally got the second round of FINGER LICHT protoypes to test and WOW thank God for LED's these lil' things can actually blind you.
First we tested the battery life span on a fully charged unit and found you'll be able to work for roughly 48 hours with nonstop light before it looses its ultra glow.
As a practice run I did a few bubble letter throw up's in a semi dark room and produced a satisfactory result. Then went for a full 8 color piece in pitch dark (basically I could'nt see anything!) and accomplished that with no problem.
The docking mount is attached to your pointer finger which makes the Licht (german for light) able to shoot and aim with precision.
The Fingerlicht weighs next to nothing and provides a 6-10 in. diameter lazer beam in the area being painted depending on your distance from the wall.
The actual FINGERLICHT light is tiny and looks like a cigarette from a distance. Should be some time around mid 2008 when these hit the market, for now it's my wicked lil' toy.
